  • Muscle relaxants....

I just had to post - my eyes are not red for the first time in almost 7 years. I've done something to get my neck all out of whack and was put on a muscle relaxant Friday night. Since then my eyes have been white and comfortable. Supposedly stress is a trigger for ocular rosacea (which I have self-diagnosed myself as having) and perhaps the meds are taking away any stress....interesting.

Interesting. I notice whenever I take my muscle relaxant, Flexeril, my eyes and mouth are much dryer.
Every day with DES is like a box of chocolates...You never know what you're going to get.

Makes sense as muscle relaxants often work as anti-inflammatory which can also reduce the inflammation in the eyes.
There have been a lot of post on the site where people have said a strong dose of ibuprofen has reduced the redness in their eyes.
