  • xanax withdrawal--benzo withdrawal-drier eyes?

    Hello

Has anyone weaned of of xanax or benzoes in general and noticed an increase in dry eye or dry mouth???

I am experiencing extreme symptoms with my eyes and mouth (otherwise feel totally fine) but need to know if there is anyone else out there that has experienced this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Withdrawal from anxiety meds

I have used many anxiety meds - beeen on klonopin for 2 years - try to take like .5mg twice a day - As for dryness - could be anxiety coming back due to the decrease of the meds - face it some of us will be on these things for life...

I used to be on prozac, celexa, lexapro, etc - I weaned off each on my own - I came to the conclusion eventually they all wear off...

      Jenny,

Were you able to wean yourself off of the Xanax successfully?

I just posted this link in another thread in this forum but it might make you more comfortable to know that yes, Xanax messes with all aspects of your eyes.

As a side note, my doctor prescribed Ativan, 0.5mg, 2x a day and it's working wonders. It's in the same family as Xanax but without the nasty side effects.
