  • LASIK advertisement on Tv:(

Sitting on the couch with my mc goggles on watching HGTV and a freaking LASIK advertisement comes on during the commercials. I almost threw the remote at the tv.

Ahhh... you need a pvr... then you can record every show you like and fast-forward through the commercials

    j/k

I tend to have the same reaction as you though... those commercials really peeve me off... haven't learned how NOT to get riled up by them... I'm still bitter if reminded of the so-called glorious miracle that will "change your life" known as LASIK ...

Back to the pvr... just don't watch the commercials!!!

Being online on certain websites they pop up all the time. I swear I get 10 times more LASIK pop-up's than porn ones!(no I don't go on those websites)

You know I usually only watch shows I have recorded. I was trying for some normalcy. I used to love watching House Hunters and I was having a relatively ok day with my eyes. I have never seen a commercial for it before. Give yourself the gift of sight without glasses or contacts....
Oh the tv almost died that day. Lol

Judging by the quantity of email offers I receive for LASIK (oh the irony) it makes sense to just mentally rank it with the porn & cialis ads. Quick, delete it before the pix download and give me a coronary LOL.
