  • Refresh Redness Relief Lubricant Eye Drops

    HI all
    has any1 tried this eye drops for either dryness or reducing redness of eye?

    It contains BAk as preservative. still looking to try it for my red eyes.Needed to know the reviews if any1 used it?
    Really need to be a ROCK to take the pain!

    It's a vasoconstrictor... Vasoconstrictors are only safe to use once in awhile - definitely not every day or your eyes will only get redder. This is true of pretty much anything that says "Redness Relief"

    Speaking of which... I went and looked at the label.

    You know, it's bad enough that vasoconstrictors can be sold over the counter with totally inadequate warnings about their dangers. But it really pisses me off that companies like Allergan are now combining them with lubricants to make them look even more innocuous. The realist in me says, all the better for their eventual Restasis sales. Growl.

      I was looking to try it out.I googled and found that the main content of this drops is used to dialate pupils.
      "Phenylephrine is a selective α1-adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily as a decongestant, as an agent to dilate the pupil, and to increase blood pressure"

      tHANKS FOR THROWING LIGHT ON THE CONSEQUENCES . WILL AVOID IT
      Really need to be a ROCK to take the pain!
