  • Mascara

I thought, since I had been tested for allergies, and my mascara had been given the green light by my dermatologist, it was OK.

Changed Docs, again, ( probably a post for another forum)
And he mentioned I should avoid mascara, since it contains parabens. ( he said there are 5 types)

Blond lashes, red eyes, scary, No Thanks.
Found a paraben free version instead.
Loreal, Bare Naturale. I bought mine at Walmart, at a very reasonable price.

It seems to have helped, since I am rubbing my eyes less.

      mascara for dry eyes

I use Lavera and have been using it for four months now. They have started selling it at Target now, but you can also buy it online. It's an all-natural mascara with limited ingredients. I have found that it works great for me. I didn't wear any eye makeup for a year--boy, did I miss it. It's a girl thing...and not wearing any mascara was tough. Lavera is super gentle on my eyes, so I cannot recommend it enough!
