  • Contacs for dry eye and protein deposits?

I currently wear Acuvue daily disposables now and then. My dry eyes come and go. They seem to come when I start making the rounds of docs to inquire about Lasik! After reading so many boards like this (and again perhaps triggering the dry eye) I think I'll forgo the lasik and try some of the newer contacs. In the past, I['ve had limited success with contacs because my right eye builds protein deposits quickly and it's also the eye that gets little bundles of red veins ocassionally causing me to stop wearing the contacs.
Any advice on what kind of contacs I should ask for samples for when I go see my doc?

Good idea. Wish I'd done that. There weren't very many lens choices at the time though.

I'd suggest you ask about Oasys, Proclear Compatibles and Extreme H2O.
