The Korb - Blackie Team just published an article on the use of antifog Swimming goggles to reliefe the symptoms of dry eyes.

In the tests they used 3 different sized simple low cost Swimming goggles from Eyeline pty - Australia.
These goggles are also available with RX lenses - prices about 50USD.
So they found that about 90% of all dry eye patients stated some reliefe of their symptoms.
People suffering mainly from aqueous tears deficiency do benefit most from such goggles.
Does someone has made experiences working at the computer screen for hours while wearing such a RX swimming goggles?
What about fogging-up, does the antifog coating really work or antifog spray.
What`s about wearing comfort.
Due to the Oxygen supply problems to the Cornea, scleral lens wearers may not wear such goggles at work or during the night.
In healthy eyes, about 70% of the Oxygen supply to the cornea is coming from the tear film.
In dry eyes, some oxygen supply is coming from the air - moisture film interface.
A low oxygen supply to the cornea always does bear the risks, that blood vessels will grow toward and into the cornea - cornea neovascularization.
A more common problem of low oxygen supply is corneal edema-swelling, causing blurry vision.
The long term application of Muro 128 Drops or ointment to get the water out of the corneal stroma is not good for the corneas.
