  • Protective eye gear causing red eyes?

Has anyone had any trouble with clear, daytime protective eye gear causing redness in the eyes? To counteract drying from the constant air conditioning in Florida, I began wearing my clear Dustbusters around the house for several days. My eyes felt much less dry - in fact, became watery - but also started looking very red. I don't know if this was caused by something else or the eye gear. Pam

Had this wen i started wearing moisture chambers . think due to hot air in goggles . but my eyes became used to it with time . They do go reddish and irritated if foam touches skin too long. so i put medical tape on foam. also i let my eyes breathe by taking sunnies off now and then. also remember to drop as before.

Thanks. I think you might be right. I'm letting my eyes breathe more and the redness seems to be going away.
