  • hot compresses

I already make for 4 weeks warm compresses (45° flannel) because of the dry eyes (doctor has said I have meibom glands dysfunction), but I feel, unfortunately, still no positive effect

when there comes the improvement through warm compress??? :'(

First of all, my general advice is: Keep at it. I had been doing hot compresses with lid massage etc. for easily a year until I slowly and successively started feeling an improvement.

That being said, you should do good research and maybe consult other doctors to figure out wether or not your condition actually requires hot compresses. It may be the case that some doctors just tell all dry eye patients to do hot compresses which is wrong. It indeed seems to be necessary in the vast majority but it is no always the right treatment.

Oh, and I suggest you consider purchasing BlephaSteam wich has helped me big time in doing my lid massages. You get a constant temperature around your eyes and it just makes the whole process much easier in my opinion.
