  • blepharitis warm compress/massage make eyelid gritty?

I was diagnosed with mild bleph and GPC and told to do warm compresses.
Well when I do, my eyelids feel very gritty afterwards to the point where it hurts to blink. Also if I close my eyes and look left and right its very painful.

    My symptoms daily are:

    Sore eyelids
Some mornings I wke up and one eye or both has a lot of goo on it.
My eyes tend to start to itch in the inner corners from about 8pm onwards.

How can I resolve this? Thanks

The itchiness in the evening could be caused by demodex mites as they tend to come out in the dark. I used to get the same thing. Cliradex lid wipes got rid of the itching although it took 6 weeks if I'm remembering correctly. Allergies can also cause itching. You might also want to try an over the counter allergy eye drop like Zaditor or it's generic. (Don't get one that "removes redness".)
