Have you done an elimination diet? It might be worth trying. They say that to truly eliminate inflammation due to allergic reactions, you need to forgo something for a 3 month period. I've actually wondered if there isn't enough fat in my diet since my diet, overall, is fresh vegetables, etc but there are so many things that people can be sensitive, it's definitely worth checking out.

Savino, excellent links thank you. Just curious, have you had your cholesterol levels checked? Do you have dyslipidemia?

my guess is it more relates to the inflammatory aspects of those foods you mentioned, as opposed to the fat content. like potatocakes,if you think food has any correlation to your symptoms, i would try a strict elimination diet for 3 weeks. that is the only way you can be sure whether food is affecting your symptoms, as opposed to research and hypothesizing.

interesting theory. my eyes were doing better this past year then I went on a Ketogenic diet! My eyes went crazy. After doing some reading I thought it was from going too low carb but maybe it was the high fat content. I am interested in what you find!
