  • plugs and cautery

OK. I have Eagle flex plugs in both upper eyelids.
I lost every plug tried in my lower left(naturally) eyelid
so that duct was cauterized. My lower right eyelid
had a flex plug but lost it after a while. It now contains a
smart plug which has now lasted for a while as well.

I have had no problems with the plugs themselves unless
you count my apparantly allways being crying. No kidding
it is somewhat embarrassing at the end of some great comedy
or childrens movie to be seen wiping tears from my eyes. I have
had some very strange looks directed at me.

    Wiping tears

I have this happen too. Usually it's when you are talking to someone. Many times when I've gotten groceries and am struggling to get them out of the cart on to the counter, write the check etc., all of a sudden a tear or tears drop on my check! I try to be nonchalant about it - they probably think I spent more $$ than I wanted to.

It's at those very times, my friends, that I might say, "Oh I'm fine really. I just have severely dry eyes." And look who's the idiot.

My closest friends don't understand my dripping eyes. Can't really expect the grocery clerk to get it.
