Punctal Plugs this Morning and Scratching

I had my lowers plugged this morning. I can't feel the one in my left eye at all. However, the one in my right eye feels like it is scratching when I look towards the inside corner of my eye. Is this normal and will it get better?

Hi TxAG,
Mine settled down after a few days. I had three different sets though, in a period of three years. The first two sets were not comfortable and I lost them, but the current set doesn't bother me and is still in place. Best of luck to you.

It can. It can also fall out. Both happened to me at one point or another.

But my current set of uppers and lowers? The one into top right was scratching a tiny bit when it was first put in. It eventually calmed down.

It can take some tries by your doc. If it's scratching more than a week, maybe go back to the doc and have him try again, maybe with a different plug.
