  • What to do

I started to have dry eyes 2 months ago.
Went to 3 doctors. They say it is aqueous dry eye.
    Mild dry eye.
Tell me to put lubricants every few hours and gel at night.

    I suffer terribly.
Eyes irritating all the time. Hard to pass the nights, although I wake up a few times, and apply drops and gel.
Cant support any wind, and air conditioning at work is tough, with little I can do about it.

I am not sure if doctors understand my suffering.
One of them is even dry eye specialist I think.
    Emotions are tough too.
    Where should I go next?

You need to find a real specialist who can detect causes (blinking, inflammation, bacteria, demodex, MGD, gland function/image etc) with objective testing tools.
Unfortunately, there are not so many real specialists unless you live in USA.
Very basic stuff for dry eye: lid hygiene, warm compress, twice/day, moisture glasses (especially important for you since you can not stand the wind, dry air).

Wise to educate yourself, maybe TFOS DEW II report 2017 could be a good start.

Should I clean my lids, and warm compress even though doctor says I dont have problem in eyelids?
