My mother is going thru hell after lasik. She has extreme dry eyes and nothing seems to improve the condition. She's taking Pilocarpine, Alrex, Restasis and Genteal drops. Any other suggestion?

Hi Maxime and welcome. Sorry to hear about your mother's difficulty.

I moved your post to a separate thread just to ensure it gets as much attention as it should.

Please have a look at our treatment summary which has a 'big picture' overview of all the different potential treatments.

For short term, some suggestions in order to get more comfortable...

    - If she has not tried punctal plugs, she should discuss it with her doctor.
    - Try other artificial tear products. There are a great many available and different ones work best for different people. Check our poll for some suggestions of drops many people here use. Try to stick with preservative free where possible.
    - Warm or cool compresses help soothe the eyes.
    - Protective eyewear is a must outdoors.
    - Get a humidifier for the home, at least the bedroom.
