New with dry eyes
Hello everyone!
I am 24 and from Chicago. I just decided to go to an ophthalmologist a couple of months ago because I kept on getting recurring eye infections. Turns out I have really dry eyes. I usually wear Soft contacts but I was told not to until I get my eyes healthy again...this part has been the hardest for me. Within 1 month I have gone to living with the pain to trying out a bunch of stuff. As of now I have lower punctal plugs(flow controllers?), Restasis, allergy eye drops, and systane ultra. I am hoping this will fix my problems, I think my medications are the big culprit. Other than that I don't know what else could be causing it. I'm here to hopefully learn a little more and get a lot of advice!
