Just a quick update .... I have made an appointment to see Dr. Pflugfelder with BaylorVision in Houston. Maybe he'll give me the answers I seek! Thanks sincerely to everyone on the board for the advice and direction and guidance. I am soooo glad to have had a different perspective on this before I underwent the laser! I'll keep you posted. I honestly still hope to have Lasik one day, but ONLY if I can be like the majority of people who have experienced the wonderfulness of it and not this painful, awful other side of it, like debilitating dry eyes. I'm not willing to go that far, and don't know why anyone would. So, I'll be in touch! And thanks again. Ellen J.
