  • Dry White powder in corners of eyes.

    Hi..
I get small build-up of White powder in the very corners of my eyes throughout the day, where i think i once read, that this is caused because of lack of water componant in the tears and the mucus is mixing with oil which cant drain away as normal so gets rejected by the eye into the corners. Is this correct ?? And does anyone else notice this?.

I have had that happen to me, too. I'm not sure what the powder is but I speculate it could be the salt leftover from the tears. The water evaporates and leaves the salt behind. Maybe.

Thank's for reply Luminaria! Have tried internet for answer, and can only find 3 suggestions, the 2x above, and 3rd excessive mucus production because the eye recognises a problem..??.. Surely somebody knows the answer? .
