  • reaction on Hylocomod: safe again!

Remember the post on Hylocomod having too much potassium and risk of calcification (opacity) of the cornea... a post by Neil if I remember well.
well anyway, i contacted them and they replied that they have changed their composition (less potassium) in the 3 following countries at least: France , Germany and Switzerland...
so it should be safe to use Hylocomod in those coutnries or imported from those (usually Germany URSAPHARM).
I'm in contact with them and will keep you posted on other countries and other products they may develop.
    take care

I was supposed to receive a confirmation of the new composition of Hylo-comod but never did...
so in the meanwhile, my advice is do not use this if you have another hyaluronate option or if your doc confirms that's what you should be using.
Again, you may inquire on the risks of calcification under Hylocomod.
    Take care
