Hello, I am a new member from Norway

I'm glad I found this site, lots of info here!
I started getting trouble with my right eye about 2 years ago. I have seen an eyespecialist, mainly because my optician found i had a bit high pressure in one eye and wanted me to check it, so I had controls every half year 3 times. Of course I also brought up the dry-eyes problem, I had the Schirmers test done, and had almost no fluid at all in the right eye. But the doctor was not at all interested, he just told me to use artificial tears.
I have read a bit on the internet, and now I use only drops with no preservatives. The best I have tried so far is the Hylo-gel. It is not sold at the farmacy, only at the optician.

I read about the dry-eyes clinic here in Oslo, I plan to get an appointment. anyone here been there? An been helped?

I'll be going to the clinic in Oslo in a couple of weeks, so I can give a feedback on here when I get back.

I know all about not getting help for dry eyes in Norway (I had to go all the way to Paris to get help back in 2007 when my eyes turned really bad), but now that we got a dry eye clinic in Oslo (and they will open one in Tromsų as well!), it's a huge improvement. I've been reading a lot of good things on the net about the clinic and the doctors working there.
