Hello, I am new to the topic. I have never had any surgery done to my eyes but sharing the same symptoms, especially the ghosting. My eyes do not feel that dry and my HOA does not seem to be high to the two refraction doctors I went seeing. One of the Dr even said I have below average HOA compare to normal eyes.

I saw that you had improvement with ointment, can you tell which ointment you used? I do think this might be something tear film related.

    Thanks!
You need to see a specialist in dry eye. You may have dry eyez even though it doesn't feel like it, and may need a treatment.

    • Starbust issue solved: irregular corneal healing leading to unequal cornea curvature. Need to retreat on the surface.
Had to test for corneal curvature, a test that apparently not a clinics offer.
Why irregular healing? No one knows. Call it a lasik risk.

      • I'm sorry for those facing starbursts after lasik. in fact, friend that i know is facing that too. i've read about it and it's due to flap complications that lasik procedure will have. just to share with all that might be visiting here. there's actually a newer laser vision correction that is called relex smile. it doesn't involve creating a flap on the surface of the cornea which reduces the possibility of having starbursts. so, look into it guys ... good luck
