Please help - what is this?

Since about 7 days I got a strange sensation in my left eye. Kind of a gritty feeling and if something was in the eye. I See a yellow point right behind my eyeball. What is this? I First thought of a sty but can a sty be in this area? I always thought a sty can only be on the lids. Please help
