  • Need help! acute ocular pain after AMT surgery

    Thanks for attention!
I had dry eye syndrome and was diagnosed of conjunctivochalasis superiorly. I received AMT surgery in right eye at April. Immediate postoperation, I felt the sharp pain looking left for m y surgery. I have attached my eye pictures for reference.
    1. When I look left, I feel the edge of AMT graft is squeezed, causing sharp pain, like my eyeball is restricted by a knife blade.
    2. The conjunctiva is elevated and the graft is shallow. As I touched the graft directly with a finger, the graft edge is prominent.
    3. The sharp pain improved a bit after removing sutures, but stayed in the same place ever since past 5 months.

Local doctor said I have scar due to AMT surgery. However I thought AMT is supposed to reduce scar and heal wound. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
