  • IPL to Eyelids

Hi all! I'm currently trying to get a better idea of which doctors offer IPL directly to eyelids (after inserting metal shields). I know of Dr. Laura Periman (Seattle) and Dr. Richard Maharaj (Toronto), but both are quite far from the US Southeast and it would be good to know who else offers it.

Dr. Toyos maintains a list of doctors who do IPL, but the list is not comprehensive.

Regarding the corneal shields, they're just one option you have to protect your eyes. The other option is an eye patch that adheres to your eyelids. My doctor actually prefers using the eye patch as opposed to the corneal shields.

Metal shields may be better because it allows access of IPL into the upper lids as well , if you use eye patch , you will only apply it to lower lids.
