  • Has anyone tried salt eye rinses

Is there anyone who tried to rinse the meibomian glands by using salt rinses.
As per this video, the guy - and people in the comment section - recommend increasing the quantity of salt you use.
I know that nasal rinses (which is also with salt) help a lot for sinus problems and nose congestion (and getting rid of bacteria, mucus etc.), so I'm asking myself of other people already tried this?
I'm also aware that if the inflammation of the eyelids is due to some kind of skin type (greasy), skin condition, or any other apparent reason, that it might not have any affect.

I have (mixed with soda bicarbonate) for a while, but I decided to do it without the sal, I add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to a cup of water to rinse my eyes in the morning. It’s wonderful.

The way I see it it's more like unblocking and cleaning the meibomian glands, which is why salt is used. But as I understand, for you it's more like cleaning your eyes themself?
