  • corneal neuropathy with dry eyes

I'm in so much pain with my eyes from staring at the work laptop working from home, it's horrific. I think my corneal nerves have become damaged due to eyes being so dry from aqueous deficiency and MGD.

I've spoken to my manager and looking at sick leave. This has turned my life upside down. I will probably have to quit my job at some point.
I've doing finger prick blood drops for a week, however pinning hopes on it working.

A few things I have in the pipeline:

    1. I'm off to London Moorfields next week for a Confocal Microsopy, god knows what treatment plan they will offer me.
    2. I'm considering an E-ink monitor to use in place of my laptop screen and see if it allows me to work in comfort (almost a last chance saloon for my job) It costs over £1k and it would be shipped from USA to England. . https://www.amazon.com/Dasung-Paperl.../dp/B07SKS6CS7
    3. I'm going to see some dry eye speaclists in the midlands later this week.

Trying to stay positive but not sure how this will go as i feel partially disabled and will have potentially no income with this condition.

Hi Orange86. I am so sorry to hear you are suffering in this way. I am too. Let us know how you get on with the finger prick blood. I am aiming to try it in the next few weeks once I have ran it passed my ophthalmologist. Try and get lots of rest, eat healthy and do some gentle excercise. Look after yourself. I know these things are very easy to say to do. You will improve.

Hi. Orange86. Are you still doing FAB and if so is it working?
