  • Searching the forums for a particular term / phrase

For those lacking a post-graduate degree in geekamology, here's how to search these forums for a particular term or phrase:

    1) In the uppermost dark blue bar on this page, find the word ">>SEARCH" and click on it.

    2) In the little white box that appears, type the term or phrase you would like to search for, then click the "Go" button which is just to the right of the white box. (In case you're wondering, the search engine is not case-sensitive.) Note that searching for "eyes" would generate a list too large to be useful, while searching for "female MGD patients with blue eyes and a hangover" would likely not generate many results (at least I hope not).

    3) A page of search results should appear after a moment. What you will see is a list of forum threads (discussions) that include the term you were searching for. If you click on one of the threads and look through it, you will see all instances of the search term highlighted in Red.

If you'd like to narrow the search criteria, do this: instead of typing into that little white box, click "Advanced Search" just below the white box. You'll get a whole page of options for refining your search.

If you're still having trouble, feel free to email me for assistance.
