permanent vessels in the eye retina
Hello, I have veins in my eyes for a long time. My question is can taurine reduce the visibility of these veins? If you think taurine won't work, how did it work on people who say taurine reduces the visibility of these veins? I also read in an article on the internet that the use of taurine unites...Last edited by İronman; 25-Sep-2023, 23:47.

Does anyone know if the product noted above is no longer in production? It's been a fall-back for special occasions for me (to reduce need to use Lumify), but it's no longer available on Amazon or even on the manufacturer's web site.

Help - need encouragement to stay the course with Azasite/azithromycin
I've read some good things on this board about azithromycin. Just about a month ago I had an appointment with a new eye doc, who started me on a 6-week course of Azasite. I understand from others on this board that this medication can cause eye redness during the course of treatment.
It's...

Lumify is the only product I can say unequivocally does what the manufacturer claims it can do. Supplements (Omega 3s, bilberry, eyebright, etc), Warm Compresses, Drinking water, and Sleep have too many variables impacting its effectiveness that it sometimes surprises me that medical doctors recommend...

Hello,
First can I say- this website has been a blessing. I wouldn't be where I am today with my condition if it wasn't for info I found on here.
I am a 39 year old female in Dallas, TX and have been diagnosed with oil and aqueous deficiency. I had LASIK about 7 years ago,...

Guest replied to New redness relieving eye drops? Not that I'm aware of. I periodically hound Bausch and Lomb on Twitter to make them understand how important a preservative free Lumify would be for people like us. They keep saying they'll send my message to the production department. Perhaps the more of us that reach out to the to let them know, maybe...

I am 41. I have had this issue for 25 years. The only things that worked for me for reducing redness besides cold compresses (very temporary) and laying in bed all day (temporary) is Lumify. But the effect is short lived....

Leelu, the low dose brimonidine was approved and has been on the US market since early this year. It is sold over the counter as Lumify.
However, it is preserved with benzalkonium chloride, a chemical known to cause and exacerbate dry eye. So using it with any regularity is a very bad idea...

In broad terms i most definitely share this concern. I think that the US is almost totally oblivious to what is happening to kids' eyes right now, and instead of researching it and starting to talk about prevention, the eyecare professions are just continuing to push more elective eye surgeries, more...
