Can you get Lipiflow/BlephEx while punctal plugs are in?

Can I perform these procedures with puncta plugs? Also do I need BlephEx, or will Lipiflow alone with a little manual lid expression suffice?

Yes I believe it is perfectly safe. A lot of people have permanent plugs and they still get those procedures

Yes, I have lower plugs and have had LipiFlow and manual expression with no problems. I’ve also had probing several times with no issues. Am assuming BlexEx would be fine too. I think it’s fairly common for patients to have plugs when they get these procedures. But it’s a good idea to list on any paperwork for the procedure that you have plugs, and also mention to them right before the procedure.
