  • Low dose doxy 40mg

Has anyone had success with this?

Low dose doxy 20-40mg may help. It helped me a bit, but I stopped it because its incompatible with IPL.

Ok yes because of the photosensitivity? Can lymecycline be used in small doses for anti inflammatory actions too? Think my doc says he prefers using this over doxy.

I have no experience w/ lymecycline. But if i rmb correctly, you are in the UK? Then you should have access to azyter (topical azithromycin), better and cheap.

I am in the UK. I tried azyter but I found it too strong. It lead to more inflammation/irritation

                Matt0029 @deep_dry_eye

I have also asked my UK hospital doc for low dose doxy, however he wants to see me in clinic before prescribing it.
I have cloudy oils and my left eye glands are not secreting much oils Also the optom at Aston Uni said some of my lower glands are not secreting any oils

Out of desperation i'm taking Azithro from this website:
                https://www.healthexpress.co.uk/azithromycin

I used Azyter drops for a month but it didnt help my severe mgd, i have no bleph, just bad mgd.

I may buy more Azithro tablets for month 2 (March).
