  • warm compreses and wrinkles

I have noticed that warm/hot compresses are drying the skin under my eyes. I've been doing them for 2 years and I can see the big difference in my skin.

I don't use make up much anymore (rarely). I don't use any antiwrikle or hydrating creams around the eyes.
    Can we use them??
I was thinking that it'll be ok during the day and being careful not to pply too close the the eyes. I wouldn't use it at night b/c it may get in the eyes etc.
Is anyone using cosmetic eye creams? Maybe the hypoallergenic ones would be safer like almay or clinique?

I use the following products: Dr. Hauschka (http://www.drhauschka.com) and SkinCeutical (http://www.skinceuticals.com). They are supposed to be high quality-not full of synthetic or weird compounds. But like you, I am afraid to use anything too close to my eyes.

      non irritating face cream

      Hi,
I too can not wear eye makeup but I seem to able to tolerate Marcelle products (canadian company). I use their light moisturizing lotion and their foundation. I use an almay concealer under my eyes because I am so dark under the eyes. I too find that my skin around my eyes looks drier than it used to. The wrinkles are more visible! I don't use any heavy creams around my eyes as they for sure would irritate my meibomitis.
I would recommend the marcelle face lotion as I can use it right under my eyes without too much trouble.
