  • coping with using a computer

I'm lucky at the moment as my job involves practically no work on a computer but this will not always be the case. Whenever I try to use my laptop at home even for a few minutes my eyes get irritated and red. is there anything you can do/use to help?

    1) Moisture chamber glasses!!! You'll find a LOT of people here depend on them for computer use.
    2) Optimizing environment (humidifier, redirecting drafts, etc)
    3) Optimizing computer positioning. I try to make sure I'm looking slightly down at my screen rather than straight across or up (try it and you'll understand why).
    4) Use some kind of visual reminder to blink more frequently when you're on the computer.
