I have been suffering from posterior blepharitis for about 11 months now. My eyes are always red and uncomfortable.I have been using hot compresses, lid scrubs, tried many artificial tears and taking omega 3 supplements. I was on doxycyline for about 3 months but it didn't help. I then tried azyter drops for while which I saw some initial improvement with but they are now back to being very red and more itchy. I then tried fusidic acidd rops but they have not done anything. At the moment my eyes are veryr ed and very itchy which is different from how they used to be which was a bit less red and just watery not that itchy or stingy. I was wondering if perhaps this new discomfort could be due to a viral infection or perhaps allergic conjunctivitis. I just want help as it is ruining my life even causing me to drop out of university and I just cannot go on like this any more. I would appreciate any help.
