Our private message system is set up to permit each user 50 stored messages at a time. This means a total of 50 messages - whether sent or received. So if for example you have received 25 messages and replied to each, your mailbox will be full and you will be unable to receive or send any more messages.
How to purge your mailbox
1. Enter your mailbox by clicking on Private Messages (upper right of screen when you are logged in).
2. Select which RECEIVED messages to delete:
When you first log in, you will see a list of incoming messages. There is a blue bar at the top of that list, and at the right side of the blue bar it says "Messages: ..." with the total number of messages.
To discard ALL messages you have received, click on the check box next to that number (it will automatically select all messages) OR
To discard SOME messages, click on the box at the right of each message you wish to delete.
3. Delete messages:
When you have selected the messages you wish to delete, scroll down to the bottom where you'll find a dropdown box that says "Move to folder..." Click on this and select "Delete" then click the "Go" button to the right.
4. To delete SENT messages:
Go back to the top of the screen. Find the "Jump to Folder" box, click on it and select "Sent messages". Then repeat steps 1 to 3.
