I had a Macular Pucker surgery in January, 2011 in which the membrane growing around my retina was successfully removed (mostly), however my vision hardly improved at all. This was followed about 8-9 months later with cataract surgery (common after macular pucker). Went for a 2nd opinion to Bascom Palmer Institute, no help. I understand there is stem cell research now being done - possible good news in about 5 years. Questions: Does anyone have experience in alleviating focus issues after unsuccessful macular pucker surgery? Also - I am a big reader but especially at night my eyes tear prettgy quickly...might a product or two from this web site be helpful to me? Any reply greatly appreciated.
