Just thought I would fill you in.
I have had bleph for a year, some days are ok but it has never completely ever gone in to long term remission. I had not seen a private doc since last year. And only treatment I have ever done is, heat + massage + hygeine + supplements. Today, however, I have been given FML Eye drops and Fucithalmic fusidic acid from Dr Kyle at Ross Hall Hospital.
He seems to think I have almost got it beat, that I had posterior Blepharitis and that it is under control but, and I may be quoting him wrongly, that I still have some residual dryness. He said I should have done this treatment months ago.
So, I am aware that I am now entering Benzalkonium chloride city but I am willing to try.
He said he believes I should be able to get it under control finally with these two drops, used for one month.
Fingers crossed.
