Im a 25 year old guy from Sweden that since 2.5 years ago suffer from blepharitis. It´s started with i felt sensitive to light and i had red eyes, so i first take the trip through the local hospital with the answer that i had allergy and after that they send me to an opthalmologist and she told me that i suffer from dermatits in my eyes and i get an oinment at recipt but this didnt helped at all, but she also precribed antibiotic oinment called fucithalmic and this one helped a lot with the sensitive feeling. Anyway it all started to get worse again so i got back this summer in July, then i asked her for oral antibiotic in forms of doxyline since i heard that helped many but she told me that you dont use this for seborrheic blepharitis and she gave me steroid drops in forms of cortison and told me to the a hygiene routine and i did since that and i get a littlebit better but there still lot of issues in forms of light sensitive and redness, and this affect my social life a lot and im just 25 years old, to get the sensitivines in a view i can feel if somone open a door the wind make my eyes affect of that =(
So here is my question.
What should i do now? call her again and told me that things dont work out? and is there possible that a cure in the future is possible? Is there any alternative things that i could do? I now making hot compress 1-2 times a day and alway clean my eyes at least 3 times. I almost loose the hope =( i cant imagine myself live with this trouble in 50 years, i can also say that i dont have any seborrheic problem witout this..
