blinking leaving oil deposit on lid

I was wondering if anyone else sees this phenomenon. I noticed the other day that after I blink I see little pin points of liquid along my lower lid margins. I know it is not meibum from my lower lids because my glands on the lower lids are further back. I was wondering if this could be secretions from the upper lids??

Can anyone else see secretions on their lower lids after blinking? Is it likely oil from the upper meibomian glands? Maybe it is just from the tear film coming together between to two lids.

This eye business can sure turn us into mini detectives, complete with magnifying glasses : )
