Hello All,
I was first told that I had dry eye, and then later told that I have allergies, and mild dry eye. Taking Zyrtec-D helps, but I have not gone through a full-year with the diagnosis yet, so I am still struggling with what to expect.
My symptons are watery eyes, occasional headaches, occasional burning, tired eyes, and mild light sensitivity.
My questions are:
1. Did your symptons start suddenly or gradually?
2. Did you know you had allergies before you were diagnosed with dry eye?
3. What are your symptons, and do your eyes itch?
4. Do you take topical allergy meds, if so, what symptons do they help? And do they make your eyes feel better or worse?
5. Has immunotherapy worked for you? How long have you been on it?
6. Do you have any other contributing conditions (i.e., eye surgery, auto-immune, etc.)?
I am just trying to put this in perspective, so any feedback would help. Thanks.
