Occasionally, I patch one eye because of a bad erosion or some other reason.
If I have a bad erosion, I pack my eye with ointment and patch it for awhile. I use Muro ointment, but probably Refresh PM would work too. The eye patch is called Opticlude and it's by Nexcare. It's actually a child's eye patch.
Expensive at $7.00 for 20 adhesive patches, but it's worth it to me.
I'm not suggesting anyone "should' patch their eye/eyes. I do, and it's nice tohave these little patches handy. One should be careful, ask your doc, and I do know that if there is an infection, you should not patch your eye. My doc says "it's a breeding ground for bacteria."
