I went to my optician yesterday to see if I needed a new script for my glasses but he advised me to wait a bit longer as it takes 3 months for the liver to clear the anaesthetic effects. Anaesthetic can make dry eye worse, vision blurry and tests are not accurate till after that time. No wonder my dry eye had been getting worse! Laxatives can also make dry eye worse. (And the anxiety!) I also think that when you are laid up and can't exercise as normal you try to read, watch TV and use the computer more which aggravates things too!
