one thing I find convenient is if you are traveling and will be in a hotel room without microwave access (to heat up your rice baggy), a plastic ziplock bag comes in handy.
you can take a washcloth and wet it with super boiling hot water, then place it inside your ziplock bag.......then use it for your eyelid compress.
