i was taking a supplement suggestd by my naturopath-it had alpha lipoic acid in it--i didnt notice any difference in my eyes and or energy.. i asked my eye specialist about it and he didnt tell me not to take it-but acted kind of leery about it due to alpha lipoic acid..?? He just said to stick with tryglyceride fish oil i am on... Is alpha lipoic acid from a plant?
