I have just had 2 weeks away on holiday to North Western Australia and as I left NZ I was very troubled with inflamation in the back of my nose and my eyes were not good either. I dreaded facing a plane trip. We hadn't been away since my Lasik in Oct 2004 and I was determined to get the holiday we had paid for! Saline spray was only giving a moment of relief. I was given some steroid eye drops by eye Dr 2 days before leaving but I was getting no instant relief. In desperation on the plane I tried using my little sample bottle of Dakrina drops for my nose problem and it gave relief for much longer. After all an inflamed nose feels very much the same as inflamed eyes! Keeping this bottle separate I continued to use it and eventually the inflamation cleared up. My nose is still OK and I have stopped the steroid drops. We had a great holiday and I was able to get some more Genteal Gel (without postage costs!).
