the plug i had put in a few months ago fell out-i think from the compress/massage.. i think i am going to get cautery on wed.. i am scheduled for it and will discuss it with my doc... i used to not even need a plug in this upper tear duct but now i do cause my right eye has gotten so much drier...
ughhh.frustrating..
some of you have all 4 puncta cauterized??
i had my left one done 3x -it openedright away last year and then a year later... so far so good..
w/ lovely medicare its 185.00 for cautery and 185.00 for each plug...
any advice?? my eye is soooo dry without hte plug-even with the 2 plugs its still super dry with the sjogrens andmgd.... i welcome and advice or words of wisdom.thanks!
