Lowers were plugged on Thursday. Still a bit itchy and scratchy, but getting better. The little cap is aggrevating.
Daily New Routine
Restasis
Saline in the am before and after putting in contact
Saline in pm before taking out contact
Rice baggy compress
Artificial tears once or twice a day (if I am not relaxing on couch listening to books on tape with eyes closed, contact removed, compress or mask).
I had a great shirmers results this time --15 and 18, one month on resatsis. Doc was very impressed, but it was after a good day and a half on couch, with eyes closed alternating hot and cold compresses. Hopefully with plugs, I will be up and about more often. (I am definitely going through books on tape).
Question: Because I have rosacea, blepharitis, etc. I want to attain, maintain clean, good tears. How do I help these plugs do their job?
