In case nobody's aware of this...
...just letting forced-air homeowners in on the below eye-friendly invention:
G-midifier (non-electric humidifer) which to my surprise, actually works great!
It has improved my situation alot in the winter, to keep my eyes from dehydration when on computer, especially if smearing vapo-rub or white-tiger-balm on temples periodically. I'd been desperate for something convenient, low-maintenance, and small footprint.
But don't believe the hype that it works for all size rooms.
The room should be small, and you need to keep it directly near the register.
Also don't expect much action if you turn the heat down!
