The Transcranial Direct Current Stimulator was delivered to the Boston Foundation in the latter part of May of this year. It is intended to treat nerve pain. It is a device somewhat similar to their Pain Scrambler and is being used on a trial basis with their so-called "Pain Patients".
Has anyone participated in the trial for the tDCS, and if so, what were your results? If good, do you need to return to Boston Foundation for follow-up treatments?
I am in contact with Dr. Rosenthal on a fairly regular basis, and he sounds optimistic. However, I don't know if there is much data available at this early stage. I would like to hear first-hand what patients have to say about it.
