Optometrists, opthamologists all kep just saying dry eye, but drops had no affect on my problem. My eyes take really long blinks and I have to force myself to open them. When I drive I sing and the problem disappears. Google helped me find a diagnosis--Meige Syndrome which is a tick of the facial muscles. It may be linked to dry eye and light sensitivity, but the main problem is these long blinks. I tried acupuncture and I seemed to noticed an improvement but after a few monthes it just returned to the former situation. (rebound or psychosomatic ???) Does anyone else out there experience this?
