hello everyone I am glad I found you all. I am 45 yr old female that was told a year ago that I had dry eye. I didn't believe htat dry eye was the cause of the horrific pain in my eyes for the past 3 yrs. It seemed that it had to be something else. Fast forward to this month . I went to neuropthomologist b/c has pituitary adenoma and thyroid problems. Needed to check for TED. My doc confirmed that " severe dry eye" was the cause of the pain. This explains the watering eyes, blurry vision,etc. But what is causing my dry eye ?
